Since 2024, Semmco has been part of HAKI Safety, an international industrial group focused on safety products and solutions that create safe working conditions for everyone working in challenging environments. The group develops, manufactures and sells products for infrastructure, energy, industry, aviation, rail and construction customers, mainly in Europe and North America.
Being part of HAKI Safety gives Semmco the backing of an established, listed international group – while we keep the specialist engineering knowledge, responsiveness and customer focus that have defined our business since 1993.

Milestones
1989
HAKI Safety (then Midway Holding) is listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm stock exchange.
1993
Semmco is founded in the UK, designing and manufacturing access platforms and steps for aircraft maintenance.
2024
Semmco joins HAKI Safety, bringing the group into the aviation and rail sectors.
2026
Newbow Aerospace joins the group and becomes part of Semmco, broadening our ground support equipment range.
