Wheel & Brake Changer - Universal with Jib & Winch
The Semmco Universal Wheel and Brake Changer is designed for the safe removal and replacement of both small and large aircraft wheels and brake packs. It accommodates wheel diameters from approximately 39 inches (990mm) to 56 inches (1420mm), together with the associated brake packs.
Easy-roll castors make the unit manoeuvrable in confined working areas. Adjustable roller positions use a pin-index system so the setup can be adapted for different wheel and brake units, while a hydraulic pump raises and lowers the load to assist alignment.
An easy-fit jib and manually operated winch allow brake packs to be lifted from the rollers and lowered into a transportation case in a controlled manner.
