Quality management
A certified system behind every product
Semmco operates a documented Quality Management System that has been assessed and certified to ISO 9001:2015 by SGS, a UKAS-accredited certification body. It covers how we design, purchase, manufacture and deliver – and how we keep improving.
The system is owned by our Quality Department and Senior Management Team, supported by an external quality consultant, and is reviewed through regular internal and external audits.

We aim to lead the sector in design and functionality. Every platform is engineered to be safe, multifunctional and hard-wearing for its specific task.

Materials are selected for strength, weight and durability in line with our Quality Manual, so equipment performs in hangars, depots and out in the field.

We work with suppliers who implement ethical labour standards, so the quality of our products extends to how they are made.

Manufacture & inspection
Production follows controlled, documented processes, and each product is checked against its specification before it is released to the customer.

Our engineers work closely with operators in aviation, rail and defence to understand exactly where people need to stand and what they need to reach. Standard products and bespoke solutions go through the same controlled design and approval process.
The result is equipment that is easy to move, quick to set up and built to last – reducing risk for technicians and downtime for the business.
