Aircraft Nitrogen Servicing Equipment

Semmco manufactures aircraft nitrogen servicing equipment for applications including tyre inflation, strut servicing, accumulators and other aircraft systems requiring controlled nitrogen pressure.

Nitrogen Walk Round Charging Kits

Semmco Nitrogen Walk Round Charging Kits are available in low-pressure and high-pressure versions. These portable nitrogen charging kits provide a convenient solution for topping up aircraft door assist bottles and accumulators without having to run a hose from a remote nitrogen cylinder to the aircraft.

Designed for single-person operation, each charging kit is housed in a robust, shower-resistant shoulder bag. The double-zip design provides easy access and clear visibility of the cylinder contents gauge, regulator and fill pressure gauge.

Aircraft Nitrogen Trolleys

Semmco offers nitrogen trolleys for 2, 3, 4 or 6 cylinders, with both fixed and demountable configurations available to suit different aircraft servicing requirements.

Each trolley can be equipped with a control panel for low-pressure aircraft tyre inflation and high-pressure servicing of aircraft struts or accumulators. Colour-coded retractable hose reels provide safe and practical storage of charging hoses where required.

SMART Check Digital Tyre Gauge

The Semmco SMART Check is a universal digital aircraft tyre pressure gauge for accurate pressure checks in bar or psi. Its robust yet lightweight construction makes it suitable for regular use on the flight line and in aircraft maintenance environments.

A backlit LCD display provides clear readings in low-light conditions, while the measured pressure remains displayed for 30 seconds to make checking and recording results easier. The unit is battery operated and supplied with 2 x AAA batteries.

SMART Charge Digital Tyre Inflator

The Semmco SMART Charge digital tyre inflator provides controlled aircraft tyre inflation and deflation across an operating pressure range of 60–350 psi.

The backlit LCD display makes pressure readings easy to view in low-light environments. An integral safety relief valve helps protect against tyre over-inflation and incorrect inlet pressure. The unit is supplied with 2 x AAA batteries.

Aircraft Wheel and Brake Handling Equipment

Aircraft wheels and brake assemblies can be heavy and difficult to handle, particularly when maintenance is carried out in confined spaces. Semmco wheel and brake handling equipment is designed to reduce manual handling and help engineers safely remove, position, transport and install aircraft wheels and brake packs.

Universal Wheel and Brake Changer

The Semmco Universal Wheel and Brake Changer is designed for the safe removal and replacement of both small and large aircraft wheel and brake pack assemblies.

Adjustable rollers accommodate different wheel and brake sizes, while an easy-to-operate hydraulic pump raises the assembly to assist with accurate alignment. The manoeuvrable design also makes the equipment suitable for use in confined aircraft maintenance areas.

An easy-fit jib and manually operated winch enable brake packs to be lifted from the rollers and lowered into a transportation case.

Universal Aircraft Wheel Mover

The Semmco Universal Wheel Mover provides a safe and secure solution for transporting aircraft wheels around hangars, workshops and operational maintenance areas.

It accommodates different wheel diameters and incorporates a dead man's braking system that automatically engages when the handlebar is released. Integrated webbing secures the aircraft wheel firmly in position during transportation.

Aircraft Oxygen Servicing Equipment

OXYGEN SMART Trolley – 3 Cylinder Demountable

The Semmco OXYGEN SMART Trolley is designed to safely transport three oxygen cylinders and support aircraft oxygen system servicing.

The cylinders are mounted in a dedicated cradle for safe, quick and straightforward loading and unloading. An ergonomically positioned oxygen control panel with easy-to-read pressure gauges allows engineers to manage the charging of aircraft onboard oxygen systems.

Wheel & Brake Service Trailer

The Semmco Wheel & Brake Service Trailer provides a dedicated mobile solution for storing and transporting equipment used during aircraft wheel and brake maintenance.

Depending on configuration, the trailer can provide storage for:

• Main landing gear wheels for wide-body aircraft
• MLG trolley jacks
• Brake pack clam shells
• Nose wheels
• Wheel & Brake Changer
• Shadow tool boards or toolboxes

The trailer incorporates a robust galvanised steel chassis with lightweight steel side and modular roof frames. Galvanised lower side and front panels feature tie-down points, while rubber protection strips provide additional protection during operational use.

Designed for easy towing around aircraft maintenance environments, the tow bar also provides secure braking when stored in the vertical parking position.
