Military Access

Military Access Platforms for Aircraft Maintenance

Semmco designs and manufactures military access platforms that give engineers safe, stable access to engines, propellers and airframes on military aircraft. Our solutions are developed for air forces, defence contractors and military MRO organisations that need robust equipment for demanding maintenance programmes.

Building on decades of experience with aviation maintenance platforms, Semmco engineers military access equipment around the specific geometry of each aircraft type, so teams can work efficiently and safely at height.

A400M Engine and Propeller Access Platforms

The Military Access range includes dedicated platforms for the Airbus A400M Atlas. Inboard and outboard engine access platforms provide large, guarded working areas around the turboprop engines, while inboard and outboard propeller access platforms give engineers safe access to the propellers during inspection and maintenance.

The platforms are designed for hangar use and are built to suit the different working heights required for the inboard and outboard positions on each wing.

Built for Demanding Military Environments

Military maintenance places high demands on equipment. Semmco platforms combine robust aluminium construction, slip-resistant decking, full guardrails and gated access to support safe working practices and long service life in busy hangar environments.
